Dex Holmes was born in Littleton NH and grew up and around sawmills and associated equipment. From a young age he was always curious about how and why equipment performed as it did. Upon graduation from High School Dex enlisted in the Navy and attended the Strategic Weapons Advanced Electronic Program. During his 10-year US Navy Submarine service career Dex completed 47 Navy advanced training schools (electronic, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Instrumentation, Chemistry, project management) and multiple college course. The return to civilian life did not slow down his quest for knowledge and technology. Dex worked for multiple industries developing his rounded knowledge base and helping him increase his abilities to utilize equipment, software, and technology to accomplish system designs. Dex shows what can happen when thinking outside the box is the norm and how one’s imagination is only limited by technology. Dex has worked in the Nuclear Power, Voice/Data communications, manufacturing, automated bakeries, Vacuum Metalizing, and consulting/engineering Fields. With over 35 years of Professional experience in Mechatronic/Automation Dex adds to his partners at Excite Innovations a strong presence and leader. As the Managing Partner Dex has the vision to make Excite a major player into the Industry 4.0 realm.
Mark Pimentel has over 20 years of operations, logistics and management experience. His talent for communication with diverse clientele has allowed him to build strong interpersonal, leadership, and managerial skills demonstrated throughout his career. Mark’s operational efficiency skills have helped boost service levels in many sectors across the world thus driving sustainable growth within organizations he has worked for.
Mark is a cross-functional collaborator who proactively tackles issues before they even arise by developing policies that are then used while operating on tactical plans that are grounded in sound problem-solving techniques.
John Atkinson began his career as a submarine weapons systems electronics technician in the United States Navy. Upon returning in to civilian life, John specialized in industrial motion control, contributing to the development of the first generation of integrated stepper motor drives/controllers. John transitioned to marketing in 1998 within the same small manufacturing company , where he planned and executed the transition from printed to digital product documentation.
John brings a strong technical background in manufacturing and motion control, technical documentation, Web Development and Search Engine Optimization to Excite.
